Owen O'Grady Photography Dungarvan

Welcome to my Website and I hope you enjoy my photos.

I took up photography in 2007 after an Easter break to Amsterdam. While there, myself and my wife Joy visited numerous art museums. I was blown away with what I saw. Dutch masters such as Vermeer and Rembrandt. Their paintings looked like photos. I knew I would never be able to paint like these, so I decided to buy a camera and try to take photographs in their style where possible.
I became a member of Dungarvan Camera Club the same year and won "Best Newcomer Photographer".
This was a huge boost to my confidence and inspired me to work harder in trying to improving my photography further.
I have successfully completed a City and Guilds in Photography in W.I.T.
I am currently submitting photos for a Licentiate with the SINWP (Society of International Wildlife and Nature Photographers) which is a new organisation within the SWPP.
